Exciting Renovations Underway at The Polo Club of Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, (Fla). January 01, 2024 – The December edition of "Simply the Best Magazine" shared an article written by columnist Deby Goldfarb. The article highlights the details of renovations at the Club premises. The $65 million renovation plan targets the uplift of each area and is expected to surpass every other Club in the locality in beauty and amenities after completion.

The process of renovations began two years back when the Club identified that the current setup needed an upgrade to handle the growing number of members. The Polo Club's COO and General Manager, Lili Hang, stated, "As our current membership is changing, we are taking the new, younger membership into consideration." She also added, "We are now the largest court offering in South Florida," after citing the addition of 18 pickleball courts and 22 tennis courts after conversion.

Another area of focus in the uplifting plan is Golf. The addition to be unveiled in coming months is "TopTracer," the #1 range technology offering an array of game modes. These modes give users experience of top golf courses, including Pebble Beach in California, Augusta National in Georgia, St. Andrews in Scotland, and more.

Besides the experience, the technology gives real-time analysis and performance feedback with swing angles and speed onscreen. The Polo Club will have 22 bays where beginners can practice and socialize with other players.

Speaking about dining and restaurants, Lili explained that it is a point of interest for members, and the Club will not disappoint. "Our restaurants will offer a variety of experiences, from casual poolside dining with shaded cabanas to our indoor Michelin-level upscale dining restaurant that is a cut above any steakhouse in the Boca area and an experience like no other."

The renovations will add a new outdoor bar and enlarge the existing one. The décor and cuisine are attractive enough for members to book events, galas, and weddings.

Other amenities include Spa and wellness centers where members can enjoy facials, massage therapies, a sauna, a steam room, and a salon with fitness and aquatic areas for relaxation. Another addition to the renovation plan is the 11/2-acre farm "Vintage Roots," running under the management of our Director of Farming, Cristian "Chris" DeRusha. The farm will bring fresh, organically produced vegetables for our chefs. Bee farming is also carried out with 80 fruit trees, making the highest quality produce available without harming the environment.

Our Executive pastry head, Devin Cowen, and his team will lead the Polo's new Patisserie. Lili said, "We will make our own ice cream and roast our coffee."

Entertainment additions will be cultural and social programs, including buses to art exhibits, lectures, Broadway shows, and on-premises symphonies. The Club has planned six live shows per year and a splash pad, playground, and Youth center for young members.

The Polo Club of Boca Raton renovation will cover all 100,000 sq ft area in designs and is expected to be completed within the next two years. "However," Lili added, "They will be done in stages for the Club to continue to operate during construction. Maintaining our same special lifestyle is our number one goal".

In conclusion, Lili said, "We have 1711 homes in the Polo Club, and only a few are for sale. People want to be here. We are renovating because it is always critical to drive forward".

The Polo Club of Boca Raton, now and in the future, hopes to fulfill the residents' desire to live, work, and play.
